Week 16

It was an exciting and very busy week in Room 112...

A HUGE thank you to Emma Davis (Cooper's mom) for planning and organizing our auction art project! Also, thank you to the parents that came and volunteered their time to support the first grade artists. Can't wait to see the final masterpiece!

On Wednesday, we were very lucky to have a special geology presentation from Mrs. Brooksfield (Alice's grandma). The first grade geologists learned all about how volcanoes are formed and the impact both positive and negative that they can have.

We ended the week with our Cozy Cocoa Reading Party! A HUGE thank you to all the volunteers who were able to make it to the party. Forts were built, cocoa was drank, popcorn was eaten and fun was had!

Finally, we had a school wide performance by some members of the Oregon Symphony, it was the perfect way to start off Winter Break and the holiday season!

Reminders:
1/2 -- Traditions posters DUE!

Here are some photos from the week...
