Week 11

I loved getting the chance to meet with all of you, and I am looking forward to continuing to work together to make this a successful year for your students!

The kindergarteners came in for a reading parade to show off their reading skills! The first graders were reading cheerleaders and then got to share their reading skills and strategies with Mrs.Evans' kindergartners. It was a fun celebration of hard work and great reading :)

We had a great class discussion about why we didn't have school on Friday - Veteran's Day. To honor our Veterans, we wrote letters to them to send to the VA Hospital. I was blown away by the thought and love that each of your first graders put into their letters. I know that the Veterans will appreciate it too!
